Do you have another profession? Please tell us about it.

I would consider myself a jack of all trades. From building ski lifts, videography/photography, profesional windsurfing, and for the last seven years sailing and engineering though the South Pacific and Indian Ocean.

Please list your best competition results (or titles if you have any) and also tell us about any personal, major achievements in the sports you do (whatever they are!).

Personally the magic of winging is that it opened up new potential at wave spots around the world. Some that had never been ridden and others world class waves that can now be ridden with a new style that only wing/foil can unlock. Exploring and achieving some world’s firsts keeps me looking around the next headland in search for another epic ride.

What got you hooked on your sport (kitesurfing / wingfoiling / parawinging / snowkiting), and what now keeps you coming back for more?

The sensation of flying over the water by harnessing a touch of the raw power of nature. Whether it’s wind power or the waves generated by it, find me out there finding flow in an ever changing playground.

Tell us about your best personal experience in the sport

My best personal experience in winging is every time I show up to a beach where before winging I would’ve been sitting there, staring at the condition. Now that I have access to the sport, I’m out there riding those same conditions that would have been impossible in other wind sports.

What is your favourite move or thing to do?

Find a wave and explore all the ways to ride it.

Which is the best spot you’ve ever ridden, and why?

In absolutely perfect conditions side, side off head to double over head windsurfing is untouchable, but for the other 99% of the time I find myself pulling out the wing gear to have the most fun.

Do you have any top tips for anyone who wants to get better at riding?

Practice your flat water wing skills. Carving upwind and downwind 360 will open up a new dimension of wave riding.

What are your ambitions in the sport, or for your riding?

To have the most fun and share the stoked with the wind community.

What or who inspires you the most?

The rider out there making the best of the conditions at hand no matter what they are.

Which are your favourite Ozone products, and why do you like them?

Flow v2 ultra x. I find that this wing lets me go any direction at any time. The stiff frame allows me to pump up on foil with a wing smaller than I would normally use, which means even more maneuverability. Check out my video getting going in 11.8 knotts on a 3.0. Once you’re on a wave the smaller diameter leading edge is amazing for slipping through a prevailing wind. In other words you can easily penetrate upwind while luffing the wing instead of being pulled backwards.
