​My dad initially got me hooked on kiteboarding. I started out doing freestyle, but soon after, I fell in love with Big Air. That is the discipline where I have the most fun and what keeps me coming back for more.

​For me, nothing beats the specific feeling of catching an updraft and just floating with your kite or foil kite. That feeling is completely unmatched!

​I think my favourite and best-feeling trick is a massive doobie boardoff with no added rotations on the way down.

​When all the conditions align—perfect waves, great wind, and of course, a spot that isn’t too crowded—Tarifa is absolutely the best place in the world to me.

​Yes! The best advice I always give people is to start watching riders who are better than you, and then visualise the tricks off the water. For me, mental preparation is the best way to master new tricks.

​To leave a legacy and be remembered in the sport—and, of course, to win Red Bull King of the Air (KOTA) one day!

​It is not really one specific person. What drives me most is simply chasing the things I love doing; that is where my true inspiration comes from.

I have ridden Ozone from the very beginning. Fun fact: I actually learned how to kitesurf on an Ozone Uno back when I was 13 years old! I later rode as an Ozone Benelux team rider from 2019 to 2021, and I am stoked to have rejoined Ozone in 2026 as an international team rider.
