What were you doing before you joined Ozone? Please share a bit of personal background info.

Before joining the Ozone team, I was finishing high school while competing on the Argentinian freestyle tour. I spent my days dreaming of one day representing the brand. Back then, I was working as a kite instructor, splitting my time between long seasons in Brazil working for a school and running my own kite school back in Argentina.

When did you join Ozone, and can you tell us a bit about how the opportunity came about?

I’ve been riding Ozone since 2017, when I was only 13 years old. The guys at Windtoys (Ozone Argentina) were the first to support my career; they really showed me the ropes and guided me as both a rider and a professional. In 2019, I met Matt Taggart at a competition in Argentina where I made the podium, and he gave me my first Ozone board. I kept training and competing until 2022, when the opportunity arose to go to Greece to film the launch of the AMP V2. That was my first contact with Ozone International, and our relationship has just kept growing ever since.

Where are you based? Or where do you split your time?

Argentina will always be home, but these days I spend most of my year chasing the wind wherever it takes me.

Tell us about your role at Ozone, your responsibilities and who you work most closely with in the team?

Currently  my main focus is carrying the Ozone flag across the globe on the Demo Tour, showing everyone how incredible our gear really is. I’m also involved in the marketing side, helping out and working closely with Jim, Kyle, and Gemma. They are the ones I speak with daily, though we are always in contact with the whole team.

Do you still manage to score much personal riding time?

100%! I think at Ozone, we are all incredibly passionate about what we do. We don’t just work to build the best products possible; we work so we can actually enjoy them on the water. That’s where I recharge my energy to keep pushing everything forward.

Outside of windsports, do you have any other passions?

I’ve always been obsessed with aviation. As a kid, I used to build and fly model airplanes with my whole family. When kiteboarding came along, it changed our lives, but that love for flight is still very much there.

Ozone make a large range of equipment for several wind sport passions now, from kitesurfing and snowkiting to wingfoiling and parawinging. Do you manage to do all of them, and do you have a favourite?

I’ve been lucky enough to try all those disciplines in all sorts of locations and conditions. To this day, kitesurfing remains my main passion, but I never say no to a solid wingfoil downwinder or a good wave session.

If you were granted one wish to have any conditions in any location for a day, where would you go, what would the conditions be and what gear would you ride?

Great question. If I could pick, I’d head to Tarifa with good kickers, 25-30 knots of wind, an 8m Vortex, and my 133 Code. That’s the dream setup right there. That being said, a light wind session back home with the Mach 1 is always hard to beat!

How would you describe the general philosophy at Ozone and what makes it all work?

To me, Ozone is more than just a kite brand. It’s a group of people who are absolutely obsessed with sports and performance. Everyone brings something unique and valuable to the table, and that’s what makes it all click.
