Before joining Ozone, I was involved in R&D for several brands, driven by my commitment to achieving top performance on the racecourse. My goal has always been to push my gear to its highest potential. When I joined the Ozone team in 2018, I naturally started working closely with Dom and Rob, Ozone’s designers, on the R1 project. Over time, I expanded my focus to include other Ozone projects, such as foils and wings, which has broadened my expertise. Now, I’m excited and fully prepared to collaborate further with the team on future projects!

Kitefoil racing is a huge part of my life; I’ve been dedicated to it since I started kitesurfing in 2012. My first kite was an Edge, and from there, my passion only grew. I also love riding waves, whether it’s on a surfkite or wingfoil. These experiences keep me connected to the sport in all its forms and deepen my commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance.

Kitefoiling opens up so many possibilities for me. It provides much more freedom to explore, with enhanced performance across all wind conditions. It’s the perfect way to extend my time on the water and make the most of every day out there!

Since joining the R&D team, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects—tube kites, foil kites, wings, boards, and foils—and I love it. The ability to jump from one project to another, each with its own unique challenges, keeps the work dynamic and engaging. There’s never a dull moment!

That’s a tough question because there are so many Ozone products that I love! I’d say the R1 is my top choice, as it’s the one I’ve been most involved with. But I’m also a big fan of the Vortex kite and Fusion—they’re all fantastic products that showcase the quality and innovation Ozone stands for.”
