Ozone International team ride Paulino Pereira was on fire, scoring the biggest barrel of the day in yesterday's heat at the GKA Kitesurf World Cup in Cape Verde, a whopping 9.7 points! Epic indeed, winning his first two heats with ease he then came face to face with close friend and Cape Verde local, Matchu Lopes, Paulino scored a couple of sick waves but not quite enough to beat Matchu who ended up 3rd overall. Paulino now has to battle it out in the double eliminations to secure his overall placing.
Paulino is competing on the Reo V5 - our iconic wave riding specific model. It gives him the freedom and versatility to maximise the potential of every wave with fast direct handling and perfect drift to ride out those barrels.
