What were you doing before you joined Ozone? Please share a bit of personal background info.

I was studying mechanical engineering in the fields of robotics and aeronautics, all while touring Europe in search of good wind.

When did you join Ozone, and can you tell us a bit about how the opportunity came about?

I joined Ozone in September 2025. I had contacted Iain previously, which led to what I’d describe as the coolest job interview ever during the Défi Kite in Gruissan.

Where are you based? Or where do you split your time?

I spend my time between Vietnam, Mauritius, and wherever destiny brings me. I really enjoy this nomadic lifestyle.

Tell us about your role at Ozone, your responsibilities and who you work most closely with in the team?

My role is focused on materials. My typical journey involves performing tests and improving processes while searching for the materials that will make our gear more sustainable and higher performing. I mainly work with the designers and the amazing Parapex team.

Do you still manage to score much personal riding time?

Spending time on the water is very important to me. Almost all of my free time is dedicated to riding.

Outside of windsports, do you have any other passions?

Surfing, wakeskating, and paragliding. I also love motorbikes, especially supermoto and road racing, even if I’m not as actively involved in those as I once was.

Ozone make a large range of equipment for several wind sport passions now, from kitesurfing and snowkiting to wingfoiling and parawinging. Do you manage to do all of them, and do you have a favourite?

I love kitesurfing, from wave riding to big air; the sport definitely has my heart regardless of what board is under my feet. That said, winging and parawinging are taking up more and more space as they offer access to a whole new playground. Snowkiting is still something unknown to me, but I have no doubt I’ll love it as soon as I try it.

If you were granted one wish to have any conditions in any location for a day, where would you go, what would the conditions be and what gear would you ride?

My dream session would be a cold, steady, 35-knot offshore breeze on a mountain lake. Ideally, the wind would pick up slowly so I could start the session with an 11m Edge and then switch to a 9m Vortex. I can’t wait to score a session like that!

How would you describe the general philosophy at Ozone and what makes it all work?

I really appreciate the high level of autonomy, the flexibility, and the trust we have in each other here. In my eyes, having an amazing and passionate team coupled with a great ethic is what makes it work so well.
