We made the Edge VT Ultra-X for die-hard Edge lovers who live to go massive and any dedicated big air rider who is ready to feel the ultimate in twin-tip freeride / big air performance.

With its ultra-light five strut Aluula airframe, the Edge VT Ultra-X weighs less than most three strut kites, and delivers the extra benefit of added stability for the ultimate sense of control.

BUILT ON THE EDGE VT BASE, BUT LOADED WITH:

The finest material selection
Even less drag than the VT thanks to the added stiffness of the full Aluula airframe, which has allowed further reduction of the leading edge diameter
Performance gains include sharper response and better efficiency at both ends of the wind range

CANOPY MATERIAL DIFFERENCES

Further weight savings have been achieved in the Edge VT Ultra-X through using a lighter 46gram performance canopy, which has also improved efficiency in flight.

Edge VT Ultra-X canopy:
Teijin technoforce double ripstop lightweight canopy (46g)

While there are performance gains in lighter materials, these higher performing products aren’t as robust when it comes to careless handling, such as being dragged and scuffed along the beach, or when regularly stuffed inappropriately back into the bag. If this sounds like something you do, the more robust nature of dacron used in the Edge VT will suit you well.
