Nico Parlier is on fire - he's winning pretty much every foilboarding event he participates. Last weekend he was proclaimed winner of the French Nationals.
To round up Ozone's domination, Ben Petit won the Master class after taking the win at the Festikite Speed Crossing Master class one week earlier.
Very good perormance in this high level fleet by Phillipe Axmann who came 5th overall. He won the Festikite event Senior class last week.
Some word from Nico:
"From Wednesday May 27th to Sunday May 31th the French Foil and Race Course Racing Nationals was held in La Tranche sur Mer (West coast). We had 5 days of wind, all sorts of conditions, 8 to 20 knts, I decide to compete only on the foil because it’s so much more fun than the 70cm board! The race committee was awesome and they organized 12 perfect races. It was a challenging regatta because it was sometimes rough with a lot of currents and the wind was moving, and that made the course very interesting. It was fun to compete with 4 out of the 6 top foiler of the Gold Cup in Mexico: Maxime N. Julien K. Axel Mazella and I, so the level was very high!
I used my 17m R1, 13m R1, 11m R1 and 15m Chrono and my Spotz foil, and I won 8 of the 12 races we did. That put me on the 1st rank of the podium! I was impressed to see the amount of foil kites in the air at the the french championships!"
