The AMP represents a new paradigm in C-kite design. It is a progressive yet user-friendly Freestyle and Park-style kite, offering amateur to pro the response, feedback and control needed to take their riding to the next level.Find a dealer
The AMP has been developed to grow with you; no longer are the progressive kites for just the Professionals!
From your first unhooked tricks, boosting kite loops, or styling out advanced park and freestyle manoeuvers, the AMP will keep you in control with the highest level of feedback, predictable turning speed and a similar feeling precisely tuned across all sizes. It is ultra smooth to fly and provides inspirational confidence to go for it!
The AMP V2 features our new rip-stop material combination.
The new rip-stop canopy material has an advanced ultra flex coating improving feedback in gustier conditions making for a smoother ride. The new technical rip-stop dacron is super tough, used on the Leading Edge and Struts it improves strength, durability and longevity.
An all new Fast Flow One-Pump Inflation System makes set up and packing quick and easy.
It features single point inflation/deflation and a high air flow rate between the Struts and Leading Edge, with clips to seal the hoses to prevent unwanted air flow in case of damage.
The AMP features three unique and easily interchangeable performance settings to compliment your skill set and riding needs:
4-Line Bridle Mode Setting 1 – Freeride / Freestyle / Kite Loop
4-Line Bridle Mode Setting 2 – Unhooked Freestyle / Park
5-Line Mode – Unhooked Freestyle / Park (Advanced)
A refined feeling suited to general freeriding/freestyle.
Use this setting for freeride boosting and kite loops. Setting 1 is the upper knot on the Variable Bridle Geometry Pigtails.
The kite sits a little further back in the wind window and is tuned to excel unhooked. Increased bar pressure improves feeling from the kite. Setting 2 is the lower knot on the Variable Bridle Geometry Pigtails.
In 5-Line mode the AMP changes in overall performance.
The kite is supported in a tighter C-shape arc, with a more precise and direct feel on the bar, increased power during load up for pop, and increased slack when in the air. This slack also increases steering delay, offering more time for grabs and handle passes.
Re-launching in 5-Line mode is simple – either pull on one back line as in 4-Line mode, or in lighter winds reach up and pull Line no.5 to turn the kite over before re-launching.
The AMP ships standard in 4-Line Bridle mode. A simple conversion is required to the kite and control system for 5-Line mode.
To convert from 4-Line to 5-Line mode, follow these instructions.
Backline adjustments allow you to further tune the AMP to your personal preference.
The attachment closest to the trailing edge provides lighter bar pressure and a faster turn speed. The attachment closest to the leading edge provides heavier bar pressure and a slower turn speed.
There’s no need to feel left behind, join the progression and stay AMP’d!
World-class construction in our own factory, using the highest quality materials and hand checked Quality Control at every step. The Ozone factory manufactures all our Kites, Wings, Boards, Hydrofoils, Paragliders, Speed Wings and Accessories - the same Quality Control processes are used across all products.
The FUTURE is NOW - All Ozone kites and wings are designed and developed using our own highly advanced custom built CAD software. Our designers are able to work with features specifically tailored to the unique forms and structures of technical inflatable and foil kites and wings. Part of our design team is dedicated to the upgrade of the CAD code and addition of new modules and features to the program as the development of our products continues.
NO pulleys, NO problems. We design all our inflatable kites without pulleys, to inherit the unique Ozone feeling and performance across our range.
What’s on the inside counts too – internal reinforcements for improved strength and durability; such as a Double layered Dacron + Insignia taped Leading Edge closing seam with high strength threads.
Sail canopy seams are stitched, folded, and then stitched again for a clean and strong connection of the panels.
Dacron reinforcements are used on all loaded areas for enhanced load distribution. This means all loads are spread evenly into the sail ensuring the kite flies and performs at its best.
Our Direct Connect construction method improves load distribution between the Leading Edge, Struts and Canopy. Struts are connected directly to the Leading Edge with internal and external reinforcements. This unique construction method ensures clean profiles are maintained with the optimum canopy tension.
The Leading Edge and Struts are reinforced in high stress areas to ensure the kite canopy remains in shape and performs at its best.
Double layer Trailing Edge strip with an internal light weight Dyneema reinforcement – this reduces canopy wear and helps to maintain optimum Trailing Edge tension as designed. The Dyneema line also reduces any potential stretch at the Trailing Edge.
Leading Edge bumpers are often large and unnecessary cosmetic items. At Ozone we build our kites and wings for performance and durability using the best materials & components available. Any areas requiring scuff protection we use a lightweight durable material with superior abrasion resistance, while keeping a low profile in order to reduce drag and maintain performance.
Our bladders are constructed in-house with advanced custom built welding machines. Double layered sections are applied to any potential wear areas.
The Anti-Snag line deflectors prevent bridles and lines from tangling around the wing tip. Safety is increased when launching with a partner and water re-launch is made easier.
We work extensively during our R&D process to develop the size range to feel in tune with each other. Every kite has a unique bridle layout, individually tested and fine-tuned to maximize the feeling and performance.
The Fast Flow One-Pump Inflation System makes set up and packing quick and easy. It features single point inflation/deflation and a high air flow rate between the Struts and Leading Edge, with clips to seal the hoses to prevent unwanted air flow in case of damage.
Soft Battens strategically positioned along the Trailing Edge provide canopy support and reduce flutter, enhancing kite feedback to the rider and also reducing canopy material wear.
Customise your handling and bar pressure with the back line bridle attachments. Closer to the Leading Edge for slower turn speed and more bar pressure, or closer to the Trailing Edge for faster turn speed and less bar pressure.
Fool proof line connectors prevent incorrect rigging of the flying lines to the kite.

An all-new push-away quick release with an innovative one-step Click-In reload function that is incredibly intuitive. The release handle fits comfortably in the hand, it is quick and easy to activate the release by pushing the handle away. A self-positioning release mechanism locates automatically, ready to be re-loaded by simply ‘clicking’ in the loop. The Click-In Loop is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified.
What’s the first thing you do when you get in a car? You click in your seatbelt, hearing that ‘click’ sound makes you feel secure that you are safely buckled up, and you know instinctively how to release it. The design of our new release system, the Click-In Loop, is inspired by the same principle. In the same way fastening your seatbelt has become a natural action when getting into a car, riders should activate and reload their release systems before and after every use. Although this important safety check is often overlooked, checking your release before each session will ensure it is functioning properly. We developed the Click-In function to be simple and intuitive, so activating and reloading will become second nature.
All riders should attach their Kite Leash to the Flag Out System. This is the small eyelet on the Stainless Steel Swivel Ring. When the release is activated, the kite will flag out and fall to the water/ground.
In all situations make sure that all lines are clear of all working release systems and the kite leash is connected in the right way.
Always clean your control system with fresh water after every session, and reload/release the Click-In Loop to check the system is functioning correctly. Store your control system with the Click-In Loop release open. Reload the next time you set up your kite.
