When did you start working for Ozone, what is your background and previous experience?

I started working for Ozone as a tester beginning of 2021. Growing up by the sea led me to start kiting at 8 years old, from there on, getting a taste of different disciplines has formed a base of knowledge very useful to judge the behaviour of a wing or kite.

Which Ozone related discipline are you most passionate about?

Tricky to decide on just one, it really depends on the conditions. I like kiting in waves and cross-off wind or foiling in flat water and light winds. Then winging in recent years has been a blast as well. I’m often conflicted when choosing between these disciplines.

Describe what those disciplines mean to you?

They all get me out on the water to have fun in my free time, yet a big part of our job is going riding and concentrate on testing. Luckily we have to test in real life conditions, which can occasionally be amazing!

What’s your favourite part of working for Ozone?

Learning new stuff has got to be up there… but nothing beats water time testing and finding out if our ideas (sometimes brainfarts) end up being what’s imagined!

What is your favourite Ozone piece of equipment and why?

The Enduro is great for kiting, wether it’s boosting jumps or riding waves, it can do it all… And of course the Wasp for winging which is an intuitive all-rounder, with a comfortable handling yet good performance.
